Jade Vine at the Top of the Bowl
The jade vine, also called the emerald creeper, is a rare tropical ornamental vine growing at the top of the-bowl, overlooking the fruit trees below. It is noted for its striking bloom color: an intense green-turquoise shade that appears almost unreal in person and stands out as one of the most visually unusual flowering plants on the ranch.
Within the cafe landscape, this plant contributes to the biodiversity, beauty, and sense of place of the upper Bowl area. Although not described here as a production crop, it is part of the living collection of distinctive tropical plants that make the ranch notable for both ecological richness and visitor experience.
